Lots of Randomness!

Today Joelle and I both went back to school.  WELL, we technically went back on Friday, but it was a more relaxed day so we considered today our first official day back!  Here's a little look at what I did today...

Each year we decorate a portion of the trophy case for our grade level to match our school-wide theme.  This year our theme is "Learning is Sweet!"  My team took pictures like this...
And we are going to add cute stars with the saying:  Star-Bursting into 2nd Grade!  Add some Starburst boxes and we will be good to go!

Speaking of candy-theme, here's what above my classroom door looks like:
And, I used the candy theme for my AR board:

OHHH, and here is Joelle on her first official day of Pre-School for the 2013 school year!
She obviously looked much cuter than me!!  I got her this cute outfit from Smockadot Kids!

Okay, I am obsessed with Joelle's outfit! I have GOT to have it for my daughter starting soon. When I go to the site I have trouble finding it. Can you give me some pointers. Thanks for the FREEBIES too! You are the best!

So nice to meet you...and Joelle! What a sweetie. Why not just pop her into your cabinet at school.
Have a fun filled year.

I love your Lemonheads board and your classroom display using the party bags (pictured in an earlier post.) May I ask what letters you used for both displays? I set up a similar display with party gift bags today and I am in search of the perfect letters!

Thanks!

Your stuff is so cute!! Can you explain how you use your AR board? I'm new to 2nd grade this year (previously K for 7 years!), so I'm not used to having my whole class take AR tests. It's not going so well. Lots of students reading lower than they were assessed for and they still get 40% on their tests.

Thank you so much for the AR cards!!

Amy,

I love your AR points board, but my grade level decided to do AR points in 2.5 increments. Would it be possible for me to get your sweet AR labels in .5 increments. I am willing to pay for them.

Thanks,

Lilly
