Fun from my friends!

Wow, y'all!  This time of year is just CAH-ra-zy!!!  PTL that I have a 4 day weekend and then only 2 1/2 days left after that :).  Seriously don't know if I could make it much longer, the kids are worn out and so am I!  Since I've been so tired lately, I have NOT been in the creating mode.  Thankfully, I have tons of sweet friends that have some really great activities out there!

Today, my students talked about reading throughout the summer so that we don't "regress" over the next 3 months.  We had a serious talk about falling behind and not being prepared for a testing grade level.  After that, we made these super cute Summer Reading Goals from Lindsey.  Love, love, love them!

Speaking of Lindsey, my kids LOVED playing BINGO with double digit subtraction/addition with regrouping.  They were actually motivated to do their problems, What?!.  Can I get an Hallelujah?!

Now onto some more friends of mine, Cara and Rachelle!  We've been hard at work on our 2nd grade memory books which I got from Cara {FOR FREE :)}!  For the cover, we used Rachelle's spaceship from her Out of This World unit.  We've got the best of both worlds, people!

That's it for me!  I'm off to crash so I can enjoy the weekend!  Hope y'all are survivin' too!

I totally grabbed that Memory Book too - one of the BEST freebie finds EVER! Love it! For our cover page I stuck a photo of each kid on the doors and then glued opening doors on the front so each kid could open the doors and see themselves inside. I'm totally blogging about it in my next post - I'll mention you in there, so come take a peek! :)

I feel for you, we've been out for two weeks and i'm not sure I would've made it this long. :)
Enjoy your long weekend!

Those reading goals are a great idea. I'm starting to really stress about my students regressing this summer.... I'm looping with them (from 2nd to 3rd), so I don't want to start over in August :/ I'm going to have to grab those from Lindsay. Thanks for reminding me about them! I saw them earlier, and totally forgot!

This teacher is hanging in. Each time I visit a blog I get a new creative tip to make the end of the year go out with a bang. Love it! Hahahaha the eyes in your '2nd Grade Was a Blast' seriously cracks me up. That is how I feel right now! I might as well glue goggly eyes to my face because the zany craziness of the end of the year has made this tuckered teacher not sure which end is up!

Happy almost Friday!~
