Ways to use flap-books!

I went hunting through my files today to look for some things to add to my blog. Since it's the end of the school year I don't have any student examples. BUT, here are some of the things I have done with flapbooks in the past!

I really enjoyed doing flap-books while studying holidays. It can be so hard to get grades for Social Studies, but these help a lot... plus, they are cute which always helps :)

We did these fun flap books when studying plants and animals!

They are great to use in math also!

This year, my students did a novel study on Chocolate Fever. After we finished the book, each student chose what would make them have fever. Then, they compared themselves to the main character. They were very creative! I wish I still had pictures of their work.... maybe next year!

I've really enjoyed working with flap books, and always love to find new ways to use them! They are great for so many reasons!

Would love to know what goes under the tabs for the subtraction strategies foldable. Can you please explain. I know how to do it but wonder what you write in them.

I'm with Melissa, I'd love to see what goes under the tabs... i'm student teaching in fifth grade and some of my students would so benefit from this handy tool!
